What we keep, and why
You sign in through your PelvicTribe (Circle) membership. We keep the searches you type so we can build better episodes and courses around the questions clinicians actually have. That is genuinely the reason, and it is a good one.
We do not ask for or store anything that identifies you or a patient. There is no name, email address, device fingerprint, IP address, or patient detail in our search log. We cannot track anyone down, and we have no interest in doing so.
How our AI search uses your words
When you describe a patient scenario in the search bar, that text goes to Claude (Anthropic) to find the episode that fits best. Anthropic operates under a Zero Data Retention agreement for this use, which means your search text is never stored on their servers and is never used to train AI models. Your words match you to an episode and then they are gone.
How long we keep it
We hang on to searches for about two years, then they age out. That window gives us enough signal to understand what topics matter to the community over time.
Your choices, and how to remove a search
Deletion is easy and human. Tell us roughly what you searched and about when, and we will remove it. In most cases we anonymize the original into a generic example (so the gist remains useful for curriculum planning while the original phrasing is gone), but if you want it fully deleted we will do that instead.
Reach us at privacy@pelvictribe.com. We respond to removal requests promptly.
Cookies and analytics
We use Cookiebot to ask your consent before any non-essential analytics such as Google Tag Manager load in your browser. Nothing tracks you until you say yes. If you decline, the site works exactly the same, just without the usage data we use to improve the experience.
For our EU friends
If you are in the EU, you have rights under GDPR, and we are glad to honor them. Our basis for saving search queries is legitimate interest: improving the podcast catalog and future courses for clinicians is a genuine purpose, and we collect the minimum necessary to do it.
You can ask us what we hold, ask us to delete a search, or object to our saving searches at all. Contact us at privacy@pelvictribe.com and we will handle your request without fuss.
